If you're a DJ it can run the show - using your voice - while you take breaks, it never makes mistakes, it doesn't forget requests, and it knows the difference between a Salsa and a Samba as well as a Peabody and a Pachanga - even if you don't. It can run the entire show even when you're not there!

The Brain is a very sophisticated MP3 player designed FOR and/or TO eliminate the need for DJs.

The Brain uses a simple, yet very powerful, set of rules to select a song to play, optionally announces what will be played (in selectable voices including your own), plays the music, and even takes takes requests.

You can optionally attach a unique announcement to individual songs. For example, "A waltz. This one will always be my favorite. It was playing when I proposed to my beautiful bride as we danced at ..."

It is so real and life like that people often have a difficult time believing there isn’t a real live DJ – except that it doesn’t make mistakes and doesn’t take breaks.

The Brain's not only smart, it also remembers everything it ever played, when it played it, and how it was played - volume, tempo, fade in, fade out, etc.

It was initially designed for Ballroom Dance but is applicable to any venue. It uses a template to define what the rules and preferences are. For example, you can tell it you're having a Formal Ballroom dance, what mix of music you prefer (how many waltzes, rumbas, salsas, etc.), that you prefer not to have vocals, prefer strict tempo, and that since it's the holiday season to select holiday music when possible.

The Brain will then run unattended for the rest of the evening.
